Where can I play a french foosball table called Rene Pierre?

A.P. Hill from Santoonie.com asked:
The Rene Pierre is an old table circa late 70's, early 80's with banked corners, cork ball, single goalie, springshaft rods and metal goals that 'tang!' when you make a goal. The men were usually red and blue. The modern equivalent is the Bonzini tables that come out of North Carolina. The last time I saw a Rene Pierre was in Atlanta, in a strip club.

North Carolina is still the best bet for the French style game, and there are Rene Pierre tables in a few bars there, such as:
Babineau’s Billiards
1102 Buck Jones Rd.
Raleigh, NC 27606
(919) 467-5411
Brier Creek Ale House
7981 Skyland Ridge
Raleigh, NC 27617
(919) 957-4200
Green Room
1108 Broad Street
Durham, NC 27705
(919) 286-2359
Hell
157 1/2 E. Franklin St.
Chapel Hill, NC 27514
(919) 929-9666
I’ll stop there..source for this is foosbars.com - navigate by state to North Carolina, and the blue / red icon indicates a Bonzini or Rene Pierre table, with the actual table specified on the page for the bar itself.
Needless to say - well worth you calling these bars in advance to confirm the tables are still there…
:o)
There is also a list of places in the Raleigh area, with table types including RP specified, here;
Cheers,
Paul
