Is it legal for an employer to provide alcohol (beer) to their employees in California ?

The company is very small (less than 15 employees) and they have a very laidback culture which the employees seem to really enjoy. As well as beer in the fridge, there is a darts board and a foosball table. Hours are flexible and working from home is encouraged. I just wondered if having beer in the fridge is breaking occupational health and saftey laws, or any other kind of law ? Thanks.

I am not sure about CA, but I worked for a very small company in Indiana that had “Happy Hour” every Friday. They stored beer and any type of alcohol the employees liked. So it may just be common with non-structured small companies.
