Can you tell me the proper specs, and dimensions for a foosball table?

I have the means, and the ability to build my own. Buying one that is worth a damn costs between 500 - 1000 dollars. I can build one for less and make it look real nice too. I need dimensions and specs first. I tried to find schematics for one already. I am not about to go to a recreation center and take measurements either. Perhaps someone here knows where I can find the necessary information.

As there are many different types of foosball table, here are a few sources, focused on Tornado, the major US table;
–DUP.htm
For the really detailed questions that I’m sure you’ll want to ask, there are a number of foosers who will be happy to help who frequent this board: - a couple of whom do custom table builds (try username: MMurrell) and some who used to work in the Tornado factory itself.
Good luck,
Paul
